Here is a documentary I created around the fascinating life and times of one of the Guitar world's leading composers William Lovelady. It documents his early history as a musician touring in the 60's, his influences and passion for art. It dives deeply into his compositional techniques, influences and the story behind writing Psalm 104 for Prince Phillips funeral service. He also discussing being taken seriously in the music world composing "serious" compositions whilst performing on Top of the Pops.
We hear some great anecdotes about being on stage with Jimi Hendrix and jamming with Steve Linwood.
We hope you enjoy this personal depiction of one of the most fascinating characters in the Classical Guitar world today.
